About Truth is Beauty: Truth is Beauty is the second of three sculptures in a trilogy by Marco Cochrane, an American artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Standing 55 feet tall and weighing 13,000 pounds, TIB is constructed of 20,000 feet of steel rods, covered with 2,000 square feet of stainless steel mesh, and will be illuminated with 2,500 multicolored LED lights that can be displayed with infinite color variety. Growing up, Cochrane observed the struggle faced by the women in his life and began to see the power of feminine energy as critical to the world’s balance. As his artistic expression has evolved over the years, he has realized his life’s mission: to create art to empower women.
